Pancit Cantoon |
Saturday, March 31, 2007 |
Our friend Braveheart (Mark) is coming over to spend the night here at home. He loves Asian foods so I decided to cook "Pancit Cantoon" for him. I'm sure he's going to love it.
Ingredients:
1 bag pancit cantoon (Noodles)
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 pound shrimps (medium size)
1/4 pounds cottage
2/3 cup celery
2/3 cup carrots
2/3 cup green beans
2/3 cup onion
2 gloves garlic
1/3 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions:
1. On the separate bowl rinse and remove shells from the shrimps. Cut all the vegetable in a cube just enough to match the size of the noodles.
2. Prepare a large cooking pan. Heat pan 350 degrees. Put vegetable oil in the pan, wait until the vegetables oil is hot enough to add the onion and garlic; stir it as necessary until they turn light brown. 3. Add shrimps and salt continue stir until they turn brown.
4. Add carrots, green beans and celery bring it to boil for 3-4 minutes in between cooking add cabbage and 3 cups of water or less.
5. Stand to boil for 4 minutes or less. Remove all the vegetables and place them in the separate large bowl.
6. Leave soup and add a bag of pancit cantoon; continue stir for 6-8 minutes; add and mix a bowl of vegetables until its done.
