Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.
Search your heart and identify the deepest, most tender shame that you carry. As you call whatever that is to mind, begin to imagine God flipping it up on it's side and transforming it into a blessing. Might seem unfathomable, because most roots of shame are buried deep and seemingly impossible to uproot. You have to remember, He is God - He can do things like that. Open your heart and let Him. |
