Thursday, November 22, 2007 |
I love artwork and exhibits. In fact, I‘ve been planning to visit the St. Augustine Artwalk just for the fun of it. I’m sure they’re going to be a lot of fun. St. Augustine, Florida is America’s oldest city and is home to many artists and art lovers. This First Friday Weekend Art Walk in St. Augustine is happening on Friday and Saturday, December 7th and 8th along with the first weekend of each month thereafter. At St. Augustine, the city comes alive with music and art exhibits. So whether you’re an art lovers, painting, photography, music or architecture, then I’m sure you’re going to enjoy this event. Well, I’m interested in painting and photography myself. The art galleries of St. Augustine sponsor free, self guided monthly Artwalks featuring the finest collection of eclectic art in North Florida. There is a free parking and free sightseeing train and trolley tours are also available. You can explore whatever type of art tickles your fancy from painting to photography, architecture, music and more. So what are you waiting for? Join one of St. Augustine's most popular cultural events on the first Friday and Saturday of every month from 5 to 9 o’clock in the evening. |
