My neighborhood is a real nice place to live. The neighbors are friendly, and the crime is extremely low. Actually, the crime is zero. But, I do not feel safe all the time. Being a woman living alone you think about your safety a lot. I decided to get a little extra security protection. A woman has to be careful, because you never know who is watching. So, after looking hard for the best alarm devices around Norfolk, I purchased a home alarm system. Yes, I probably could have got a dog instead, but it would be just my luck, and I would get one that would rather sleep than guard. With my system I don’t feel nervous at night, and I feel comfortable coming in later hours. It took a little getting used to because I would forget to disable the alarm. It’s something I had to get used to before opening the door. But, that has improved a lot. My neighborhood has its own security watch, but sometimes I wonder how effective it really is. Especially, since there doesn’t seem to be any crime for them to watch. My neighborhood is the perfect area to live. I wouldn’t trade living here for any other place in this town.
