For the past several months, I had to take my young daughter along when I went grocery shopping. On a good day I could simply look at is as an adventure, on a tough day it was a painful experience. My daughter simply has no patience for being constrained in a shopping cart , as she would rather be on the move. Any time I got out of the store with most of the items on my list, I was satisfied. Now a friend and I were trading days of watching one another's children, so I actually had some time to myself. I utilized these mornings to get my grocery shopping done because I found I could get it done much more quickly when I was by myself. I would spend Friday evening writing my list, clipping any applicable coupons, and narrowing down which store would have the best deals. On Saturday morning we got up early, grabbed my list and coupons, set the www.allhomesecurity.com home security alarm as we left the house, and hit the road. As soon as I dropped my daughter off I would head to the grocery store and I usually found it was not very busy yet. Being able to cross the grocery shopping off my list early Saturday morning meant I could enjoy the rest of the weekend. Thanks for the post from Bertha Randall Labels: Blogging, Shopping |
