The search engines and the PPC works hand in hand with one another. During the year 1988, Yahoo! started this kind of feature. Now, there are several varieties in which pay per click program is being used. Yahoo has established themselves in the ppc management field. Adcenter for Microsoft and Adwords from Google are the other two search engine giants, who are picking up their pace on the PPC field.
All the three companies, Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft, has got their own search engines and/or web portals. The Google has Google Search Engine, Yahoo has the Yahoo search engine, Microsoft has Bing search engine website from which a user might begin search on services or products.
The search engines will place the links of the sponsored companies in the highlighted section, when a user searches with the keywords or key phrases that are related with the company’s services or products that it offers. These links are actually displayed in an intention to help users identifying the products or services that are related with the search keywords.
