My wife and I took a good look out our house the other day, and we decided that we have a whole lot of work to do in the New Year. We have a good chunk of money set aside, so it might be time to think about a big remodeling project before too long. Our siding needs a lot of work, the roof needs re-shingling and kitchen could use an update, as well. We've had our home for years and haven't had to do a whole lot of work on it as of yet. It looks like a lot of this stuff is starting to hit us all at once. Unfortunately, I am not much of a handyman, and I don't really think it would be worth for me to try and save extra money by doing things myself. The other day I was browsing for home improvement options online when I came across http://www.Homeproimprovement.com, so that's going to be a good start for me, I think. The wife isn't too thrilled about having the kitchen gutted, but I just explained to her that we'd make due by eating out at her favorite restaurants while we waited. I think that calmed the storm a little, heh. Guest post written by Billy Everhart Labels: Blogging, Home and Garden |
