Photo Hunt: Squeaky |
Saturday, December 27, 2008 |
I love this picture of my dear son. It was taken during his first birthday. He was sitting on his high chair patiently waiting for his cake. He always squeak and stick his tongue out. I guess he got it from his father! He got his five sea squirts munchkin toys from his grandma.
More photos here! Have a great week everyone :)

Handmade Wooden Beds |
Monday, December 22, 2008 |
Our dear son like to sleep in the play pen and we let him sleep there for months. Then, after he turned one year old, we decided to put him in the crib because it’s a lot safer and comfortable there compared to the play pen. On the other hand, dear daughter is 4 years old now and she still sleep in her small bed. Kids really grow fast these days and I’m thinking of getting her a wooden beds. I found LOMBOK, a site which is renowned for its beautiful handmade wooden beds. They offer furniture, lighting and accessories inspired by Eastern Living. They specializes in wooden furniture, wardrobes, beds, dining tables, bookcases, chairs, mirrors, lamps, chests of drawers, desks, bookcases, cushions, candles, coffee tables, wardrobes, bed throws, and many more. They use teak and oak wood for their products with Asian inspired and colonial in design. Their bed collection suits all styles of interior from the traditional to the contemporary which fits every style and budget. All LOMBOK beds have fixed slatted wooden bases. So far, I love their Milano bed with a flared top, headboard upholstered in heavy cream cotton. This bed will definitely bring chic sophistication to your bedroom. This is available in king and super king size only. So if you still looking for an affordable, high quality wooden beds, then LOMBOK is the place to go. LOMBOK for handmade wooden beds and wood bedroom furniture in London, United Kingdom with high quality wooden beds, bookcases, and mattresses delivered in days. Don't forget to take a look at their handmade wood beds section of their website to see other handcrafted beds. |

Peace |
|
There are areas in the life that are sometimes gray or uncertain. If you've already determined what you want the answer to be, you can find a way to interpret God's Word in order for it to fit around what you want or you can ask that God provides the peace that passes all understanding when what you're called to doesn't present itself in black and white.
Have a blessed Christmas everyone! |

Payday Loans |
|
Our budget is kind of tight right now. We were supposed to go to Reno, Nevada to visit our folks in the area and spend Christmas with them. Dear hubby called Mom the other night and let her know that we're not coming. Mom was upset. She's expecting to see the kids but there's nothing we can do about it. I feel sorry for dear hubby though. He's been planning the trip since May but decided to bail at the last minute since we can't drive there because of the weather condition. Anyway, he's thinking of getting a payday loans but I told him we should just wait until next year. It's definitely not safe to drive down there especially in this time of year. I prefer to go there in the summer! |

SS: Christmas |
Saturday, December 20, 2008 |
1. On an average year, how many days before Christmas do you generally finish your Christmas shopping? Normally 7 to 10 days before Christmas. Or sometimes, earlier than that...
2. Is the economy making you spend any less on gifts this year, or are you spending about the same? I guess I spent less this year.
3. What part of the Christmas scene do you find the most chaotic? What part do you generally worry most about? Mostly about my family back home. I find it hard especially they're thousand miles away.
4. Take the quiz: What Movie is Your Christmas Most Like? Your Christmas is Most Like: A Very Brady Christmas
For you, it's all about sharing times with family. Even if you all get a bit cheesy at times.
5. What Christmas movie is your favorite? Which one is your least favorite? I don't really watch Christmas movies that much. So I don't know which one is my favorite or not...
6. What Christmas tradition from years past do you miss the most now? Staying late all night. Family getting together on Christmas day!Labels: Fun Stuff, Saturday Six |

Gift Cards For After Christmas Sales |
|
Like most people, I also love gift cards. I prefer gift cards rather than gifts during holiday seasons. That way, I can buy things that I really need. Gift cards continue to be the preferred gift this holiday. By giving gift cards during holiday season, people will benefit from after Christmas sales in which they get great deals on everything from clothing to electronics to household gear. A lot of people prefer to give and receive gift cards because they get what they want and their money is not wasted. Giving gift cards let your loved ones get what they wish they would have got for Christmas.
Speaking of gift cards for after Christmas sales, Blackhawk Network’s Gift Card Mall is found in an exclusive retail network of leading grocery, mass, convenience, drug and specialty retailers. The network includes more than 80,000 storefronts and reaches more than 165 million consumers each week. |

Leather Padfolios |
Wednesday, December 17, 2008 |
It's been a while now since I really wanted to buy a new Leather Padfolios for myself as a Christmas gift. I like leather padfolios and it's a perfect gift for Christmas. I found a great site where they offer the best and the finest quality Florentine Napa Leather and lined in gorgeous suede. The inside cover has 2 slip in pockets, a business card pocket, and a pen holder. This padfolio holds a letter size pad which is included. I'm also thinking of buying another copies for dear hubby and his friends. They both like Leather Padfolios as well. What I love about leathertree.com is that, they have been rated “1A” in customer service, ease of ordering, products, pricing and shipping and have been in the business for 11 years. They offer excellent quality products, fair pricing, quick shipping and a liberal return policy are a few of the qualifications necessary to become a leathertree.com supplier. |

I saw our Gothic neighbor the other day. I asked her what she's been up to these past few days and she told me she's busy with her studies. She's also involved in a Goth Chat where you can meet new friends with Gothic singles. Fresh Cut Flowers |
Friday, December 12, 2008 |
I have my heart set of freshly cut flowers. I love love it. I missed my garden so much when I moved here in the US. We don't have a bigger backyard so I wasn't able to grow flowers at all. But I'm so glad there are places online where you can buy wholesale flowers at reasonable prices. Their wholesale flowers are fresh-cut, and packed in bulk bundles, and most of all, they also offer free Shipping on all flowers as well as their 100% fresh quality guarantee. You can't go wrong with these deals. I'm planning to buy roses for the holiday! |

In the last week who have you communicated with? * I've communicated with my cousin Amy. She just arrived here in the US and she needs someone to talk to.
Who did you speak to most often? Is there someone you wish you had spoken to? * My younger sister. She went through a lot lately so I called her every other day to let her know that I always care for her even though we're thousand miles away.
What was your most common method of keeping in touch? Do you feel this is most effective? * Chatting via Yahoo Messenger, email, phone calls, text messages.

Was there anyone you spoke to but you would have prefer to avoid? * Not that I know of. |

Designer Costume Jewelry |
|
Christmas is just a few days away. I'm still not done buying gifts for my mother-in-law. She's kinda picky so I have a hard time which one to get for her. She likes wearing designer costume jewelry so I might get that one instead. I found a great site where you can shop for designer costume jewelry, fashion jewelry sets, and many more. The site has been providing exclusively designed jewelry, gifts and accessories to millions of satisfied customers since 1971. I love their genuine diamond accent bangle bracelet, a gleaming gold finish bangle bracelet which make people look twice. Very exquisite and affordable! |
