I don’t own a cookbook, but I cook a lot.
I don’t just come up with recipes off the tops of my head. No, I’m not that amazing. I just look ones up online and follow the directions directly from my laptop as I cook and bake. There was a time when I did have a whole shelf full of cookbooks, but I’ve moved quite a bit in the past few decades for work and rather than packing up a lot of my stuff I’ve had yard sales and sold it instead. Before I moved the last time, I used my internet service satellite AK to advertise a yard sale I had to sell some of my extra stuff, like my cookbooks. By that time a lot of my cookbooks were so worn out and I already knew a lot of the recipes by heart that I just saved my favorites onto my laptop and decided to rely on the Internet to find more from then on. Now I use my satellite internet TX to plan out meals and dishes for pot luck dinners. You could say I’m going green, but it’s pretty convenient too.
