Spiderman Comic Books Sunday, September 12, 2010 One of the greatest things about the internet is the availability of products that just can’t be found on a local level. This is especially significant to comic book aficionados as they can find almost any issue ever released, even some of the rarest copies in the world. Although the rest of the mortal world might not understand this passion, there is something about a comic book that is beyond words. At the moment, some of the hottest selling items are Spiderman comic books, both new and old. In fact, Spiderman comes in at number one on the best seller list. In fact, that is even ahead of the Classics Illustrated comic books! Although best sellers seem to trend in and out, Spiderman is in for the long haul. Just as there are collectors who value coins, stamps and a wide array of ‘collectibles,’ there will always be a multitude of collectors of comic books. Whether it is because those brightly colored pages are reminiscent of a childhood long since gone, or because the heroes are larger than life, no one will ever know for sure. It’s just that there is something special about those fantasy laden adventures that take us out of the realm of this world and into a land where imagination meets reality.
