It was a busy weekend for the family because we attended our uncle's birthday celebration. We haven't seen him in months and I'm glad that we were finally able to see him and his family. It was a two hour drive from where we live and although it was very tiring, it was worth it. Some of our relatives were also there. It was actually a surprise birthday party for him. His children were the ones who organized it and invited close friends and relatives for the celebration.
We all shared a sumptuous lunch and everyone enjoyed it. There were even some parlour games not just for the kids but for the adults as well. After the games, we decided to stay for a while because the kids still want to play with each other. I spent a lot of time going through my uncle's collection of books and magazines. My uncle loves to read a lot about different topics. I saw a magazine about the latest in guns used in the military. I didn't know what a Sniper scope is but I have seen them in some TV shows.
There was even a photo of a tactical scopes with high performance optics designed for the military. There are even a gallery of ar 15 scopes or semi automatic rifles. I told my uncle that I only see them on TV shows and action movies.
After a while we decided to go home because the kids are already tired from playing with their cousins. We told our uncle that we hope that we get to visit him again one of these days.Labels: Blogging |
