Last year, around November we saw a rabbit wandering around the neighborhood. I felt sorry for him because it's freezing cold and snowing at that time. It's funny because every night, the rabbit seek shelter inside our neighbor's house. His house has a whole in it. He gave him some foods as well. Today, dear hubby saw the rabbit again in the rain, shaking. I feel so sorry about it. I wish I can bring him inside the house but I couldn't because of the kids, and a dog. It isn't probably a good idea...

I think you should take him in if at all possible. White rabbits are usually someone's pet. He may well have been lost or abandoned! Maybe a nice safe cage until he and the dog have acclimated? Or maybe a trip to the vet to see if he is chipped? Or a (no kill) bunny shelter? He does look healthy though! If it's been a year he might have acclimated himself to living on his own. Maybe set up a warm place outside where he can get away from the weather?
