Few years ago, I used to read a lot. I'd buy books at a rate of two or three books a week, not to mention I'd check out books from not one but three local libraries. You see I'm more into reading or being online than watching movies or be in front of the television. Unfortunately when we moved back to a smaller apartment, I had to let go of my collection due to shortage in space. My Daniel Steele and Sidney Sheldon books ended up with my friend Jane, the Nicholas Sparks and scrapbooking idea books was distributed amongst friends overseas, my other chick lits were passed on to Janis.
The only books I kept were my Richard Bach, biographies, and some cookbooks. Im such a geek, I know. I was stuck with no books for myself and kept on loaning books from libraries. Which sometimes is a big hassle. First I need to get there at a decent hour when the library is still open. Second there are return dates and I need to bring it back there so I don't incur overdue fees. This was until my friend and fellow reader told me that for those who don't have the money and shelf space to buy books, there are Book rentals sites such as BooksFree that allows you to Rent book or books, MP3 audiobooks and Audio books on cd from a selection of over 300,000 titles at a monthly flat rate. They offer free shipping and returns.Labels: Blogging, Education |
