These odds can be described in different ways. However, most of the time, you will find them in NFL moneyline bets. NFL betting odds are often written as “greater than 100” or “less than 100”. Whenever you find a plus sign (+) in front of the number, this means “underdog”. What this shows is the amount you can win if you bet a hundred dollars and won. For example, if you saw “+300”, it would mean that your profit would be $300 if you won the bet. This number varies depending on the risk the bet entails. Some bets have higher risks, thus, higher rewards or profits, than others. Whenever a minus sign (-) is placed before the number, it means that you have to wager to win $100. For example, if you find a –300, this would mean that you have to bet $300 to win $100. Usually, these bets do not have too much risk in them, thus, you have to bet more to win.
Now that you understand NFL betting odds, placing your bets should be easy and simple. Next time you are about to get involved in NFL betting, make sure to identify the odds and make the right bet. I decided to stay up late just to watch the Beijing 2008 Olympics. After the butterfly and the backstroke, Phelps was just .05 seconds ahead of Hungary's Laszlo Cseh. But it was only the illusion of a contest in the breaststroke, Phelps expanded that lead to 1.11 seconds, and then flew home in the freestyle to win in a world record-time of 1:54.23 to Cseh's 1:56.52. Boy, I can't believe it! Michael Phelps did it again. This was Phelps, 23, his seventh title of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, matching the storied standard set by Spitz in 1972 in Munich. Michael Phelps have one more game tomorrow. Don't miss it!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! Manny Pacquaio won against David Diaz. I stayed up late tonight just to find the result since I didn't have a chance to watch the Pacquaio vs Diaz fight on TV today. Pacquiao wins by knockout. During round 9, Diaz’s face is a mess as the round starts and Pacquiao resumes the assault. Pacquiao lands a three-punch combination to the head. Diaz throws a left and a right, which Pacquiao blocks with his gloves. Diaz simply can’t land much. Straight left by Manny snaps Diaz’s head back. Diaz’s left eye is blackening and closing quickly. Pacquiao circles and flicks a couple of jabs. Right hand inside followed by a left sends Diaz down face first. The ref doesn’t even bother to count and waves off the fight at 2:24. Hooray! Another victory to Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. Mabuhay ang mga Pinoy!
