Tips for Surviving Flights to London |
Thursday, July 29, 2010 |
Vacations can be a large investment, which sadly contributes to their general infrequency. However by following a few tips, vacations can be made more affordable and therefore be taken much more often.
One easy way to make any vacation more affordable is to travel during the week as opposed to over the weekends. While this may seem counter-intuitive, it can actually save hundreds on the price of a flight. Because flight volume is highest during the weekends, airlines can charge less for tickets during the week. Even though this may require vacation days from work being taken at odd times, it could potentially save hundreds on the overall price of the vacation.
Another way to make vacations cheaper is by searching for discounted flights and hotels online. There are some web sites that offer flights to London, France or other European cities for the cost of a cheap domestic flight. Many hotel web sites provide those who are willing to be flexible with their dates or locations with huge savings. When searching for affordable yet highly rated 10 london hotels, there are numerous reputable travel guides on the web to check at. By scouring for deals, many people can cut the price of their vacations in half.
Finally, for those traveling on overbooked flights, the option to give up seats to accommodate other travelers is always something to consider. By law, airlines require that they compensate travelers willing to do so, which means that a few extra hours spent in the airport now equates to a pair of free round-trip vouchers later. Since the majority of the cost of any vacation is spent on traveling there and back, those willing to be inconvenienced will be rewarded with a virtually free vacation in their future.
Those willing to follow these tips will be able to enjoy a much more affordable vacation. By doing so, they increase their chances to enjoy many more vacations in the future.Labels: Blogging, Travel |

Gold Toilets and the Extravagance of Wealth |
|
A Hong Kong jeweler crafted two bathrooms out of gold. The toilet weighs 837 lbs., and is made from solid gold. Do you have any idea how expensive that is? The first decade of the 21st century proved to be the decade of rampant materialism, and the last couple years showed the high costs.
Using Your Home As a Personal ATM?
Many people have blamed the financial system for the economic meltdown, and certainly their easy lending and fancy financial instruments give them a lot of responsibility, but they are not solely to blame. With the housing market reaching toward the sky, consumers reached for the stars, mortgaging and re-mortgaging their homes, withdrawing cash to spend on hundreds of expensive toys, cars, and gadgets. Surely the family who took out hundreds of thousands of dollars in equity before their million-dollar cottage was foreclosed on is just as responsible as the bank that gave them the cash and now holds the property: worth considerably less than a million dollars now! Too bad they didn't spend the cash on a golden toilet, right? With the price of gold so high after the housing crash, they could have sold the gold and paid off their mortgage.
Acceptable Consumption
Where do you draw the line between acceptable consumption and rampant materialism? That is an individual choice each consumer has to wrestle with, a moral dilemma fit for King Midas. Golden toilets and fancy cars might be pushing it, but sensible bathroom accessories and reasonable means of transportation are surely acceptable. Of course, that's a very personal decision. For some people, a fancy car with better safety ratings is a sensible choice, while for others only a bicycle and a bathroom towel rack for their helmet to rest on is the only acceptable option.Labels: Blogging, Business, Home and Garden |

World Travel for Beginners |
|
Have you ever dreamed of seeing the world, but thought "that's just not me." Maybe you're not exactly swimming in disposable income, but you don't see yourself roughing it in youth hostels either. Or maybe the thought of navigating unfamiliar cultures and foreign languages makes your hair stand on end. Maybe you just don't know where to start.
The first thing you will need is a passport. If you're a U.S. citizen you can download the application form from the U.S. Department of State website. You will need to sign and submit the application in person; the website includes all of the details. Allow plenty of time for your passport to arrive in the mail before leaving the country.
Next comes the fun part -- choosing your destinations! Maybe you have fantasized about Holiday Villas in Spain, luxury hotels in India, or beach huts in Tahiti. You could choose to fully immerse yourself in a single location to get the full effect of the people and culture. Or, you could allow yourself a number of destinations. Many packages and discounts are available online, so pick your dream spot and search away.
Remember, if you choose multiple destinations you will need to find transportation from one to the next. In Europe, the rail system makes this easy. However, you may choose to travel by plane, boat, or car.
It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the language of the location you are visiting. If you already speak a second language, maybe that will figure into your decision. But don't feel intimidated if you're not a master of languages. People in many areas of the world, particularly in tourist-heavy areas, speak at least some English. They do appreciate when visitors at least make an attempt to speak their language, but if you get into a jam, you can often find an English-speaker. Bon voyage!Labels: Blogging, Travel |

Late Night Television With a Peanut Butter and Jelly. |
Tuesday, July 27, 2010 |
For as long as I can remember I have always sat down to watch late night television with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Something about the sandwich has always made it the perfect complement to any television show that can be found late at night. The other important part of the meal is what it is eaten with. Many times it is just a sandwich and chips. The salt from the chips makes for a nice compliment to the sandwich. Other nights, it can involve more work. Potato salad, macaroni and cheese, or a cup of soup are all perfect to enjoy with a peanut butter and jelly. The other important part of the evening is finding the right show to watch on TV. Cartoon Network has this covered most nights with Adult Swim. Watching Family Guy, King of the Hill, Robot Chicken, and other shows has become part of my going to bed routine. Other nights, it is fun to flip through the movie channels and see what is on. Whether it is a movie that I have watched hundreds of times, or a B-rated horror movie, there is always some movie on that can break the streak of cartoons I watch each night. Thanks to my cable tv deal I can watch my cartoons and other movies while relaxing with one of my favorite midnight snacks. Choosing the Right Dress |
|
Is there anything so wonderful for a woman as feeling pretty? Feeling pretty improves your mood and can help you get in touch with your feminine power. Is anything more femininely fabulous than a really great dress? Every woman knows that there’s something about putting on the perfect dress –with the perfect fit – that can really amp up a woman’s look and put her personal style over the top. The key is in finding the right dress for YOU.
A great dress plays up your strong points, while playing down figure flaws. What’s critical is to have a real sense of your body type when choosing a new dress. Do a frank self-assessment in the mirror to develop a strategy for playing up your greatest features. Once you know your best look, go for the classic styles that are slimming and lengthening. If you have great legs, show them off! Gorgeous arms? Let’s see them. Don’t focus just on this season’s latest looks. Instead, choose a dress that shows off your best assets and personal style.
What else should you consider when searching for a new dress -- one that’s utterly “made” for you? Beyond the cut, also focus on color. When trying on dresses, hold the fabric up next to your face. You’ll see immediately the colors that work well for you, bringing out the vibrancy in your skin tone and features. Also, pay attention to patterns. Some looks are too busy and can be distracting. For a look that works for morning and into evening, go with a solid color, and then dress it up or down with key accessories.
A great dress can be a good investment. Choose one that makes you look great, and it will never go out of style. Update with new jewelry, scarves and jackets, and you’ve got a piece that will keep you looking fashionable for years.Labels: Blogging, Clothing, Shopping |

Los Angeles Party Bus Rental |
|
Few months ago, our friend treated his wife and daughters to a trip to the West Coast. They went to Universal City and saw movie attractions and rides and relived their childhood in Disneyland. But what capped it off and made their trip special was their time on the los angeles party bus rental . The parents rented a LA party bus as an early birthday present for the two girls and invited their cousins and other relatives to come along. Everyone absolutely loved this Orange county party bus experience, and that included everyone from 7 year olds to 50 year olds. They had an absolute blast and could not have asked for a better party. The kids had a wonderful time and talked about it for weeks. The driver was great and made sure they had a "safe" wonderful party while the DJ also made sure everyone was entertained and no one was bored. He let the children pick any song they wanted and even danced and played games with them. The girls and the other kids were dancing the entire time. They actually said that this may had been their best party ever. Though the parents can still have time to top that as this is just their 10th and 13th birthdays. Labels: Autos, Blogging, Business |

Ready To Assemble Cabinets |
|
It is another busy day, full of blessings and I need much more time online. I want to finish all tasks tonight. I must have the motivation again and more concentration. I am also busy chatting with one of my online friends who just recently transferred from California to Texas. Today the family is exhausted and just getting over the big move, tired from heavy lifting and and packing, loading and unloading things. But before we stopped chatting, she asked me if I knew of a good place to buy kitchen cabinets. She said the cabinets in the home they have moved to are old and need to be replaced. She has so many things to think about now, I am happy to help her with this. I did some scouting on the internet and found some great quality RTA kitchen cabinets. RTA means ready to assemble, so some of the cost you save is that you have to assemble these cabinets yourself. However this is fairly easy to do and her hubby is very handy. You can buy kitchen cabinets online at prices that are 30 to 50% less than you can find locally. The cabinets at the website onlinecabinetsdirect.com are RTA, made of solid wood and not cheap particle board. I know my friend is exhausted right now but I think she will be really happy with the kitchen cabinets at this website. They have a current promotion of 5% off or free shipping to a business address. Wow, 5% off already great prices, my friend can't go wrong. Now everyone can afford good quality kitchen cabinets thanks to onlinecabinetsdirect.com. Labels: Blogging, Home and Garden |

The World Wide Cookbook |
Wednesday, July 21, 2010 |
I don’t own a cookbook, but I cook a lot.
I don’t just come up with recipes off the tops of my head. No, I’m not that amazing. I just look ones up online and follow the directions directly from my laptop as I cook and bake. There was a time when I did have a whole shelf full of cookbooks, but I’ve moved quite a bit in the past few decades for work and rather than packing up a lot of my stuff I’ve had yard sales and sold it instead. Before I moved the last time, I used my internet service satellite AK to advertise a yard sale I had to sell some of my extra stuff, like my cookbooks. By that time a lot of my cookbooks were so worn out and I already knew a lot of the recipes by heart that I just saved my favorites onto my laptop and decided to rely on the Internet to find more from then on. Now I use my satellite internet TX to plan out meals and dishes for pot luck dinners. You could say I’m going green, but it’s pretty convenient too. Consumer Credit Counseling Service |
|
I am happy to hear from my friends and loved ones that my homeland is out of the woods, as far as the economy is concerned. The Filipinos back home are so blessed that they do not have to contend with the effects of the economic crunch, no longer requiring them to resort to serious pen pushing and credit counseling. The trend worldwide and the United States is another story. According to the World Bank, economy recovery will be painfully slow. So slow in fact, that the crisis will impact finance and growth over the next decade. I am glad that even before the economic crunch hit us here in the US, my husband and I were lucky enough to stumble upon basic consumer credit counseling information over at ccofamerica.com. The site’s ccofamerica.com website offer consumer credit counseling service equipped us with basic knowledge and tips to better handle our credit and finances. This prepared us, and how, on the crisis that hit this great land. So much was the impact of this to our lives, that I am recommending this to all my friends and loved ones. The worst may be over, but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared. Labels: Blogging, Money |

Variety Of Safe Cosmetic Surgery From Expert |
Tuesday, July 20, 2010 |
I love entertainment. Today, one of my fave actress just had her successful cosmetic surgery face lift. She looks so different from her old look. Younger than before. I think that is very normal for those who undergo face lift. The aim is to look younger and prettier. There are some individual who are really willing to invest for enhancement. I admire their toughness when it comes to operation. But part of it is to find a clinic where to have the surgery. I read online about cosmetic surgery mexico. Mexico has become one of the premier destinations for affordable cosmetic procedures; but as with any elective surgery you need to take the time to ensure that you choose the right doctor, as well as the right facility. I look at their case of the month for those who had the plastic surgery mexico they are really promising. I can imagine that customers are really satisfied with their services. Proven as we say. Oh wait! They also offer financial assistance. Some patients choose to finance all or a portion of their surgery. Dr. Manuel Romero has made arrangements with the following company if you are interested in applying for financing. For you to know Dr. Manuel Romero is one surgeon in Mexico that holds a very good record when it comes to surgery in many areas, that is his expertise! Labels: Beauty, Blogging |

Back To School Specials |

Before settling here in the United States, I had no clue about dollar store products, moreso dollar store wholesale items. The retail experience in the Philippines years ago, was pretty limited to local brands and produce. Coming across a dollar store item was such a long shot then. But that was yesterday. With the liberalization of imports and exports in my motherland, almost every foreign brand that we could think of, has set up shop in the Philippines. I actually get surprised sometimes, when I see that my Philippine-based friends have more imported brands in their possession compared to me--practical me. Thanks also to the internet, access to dollar store items are easier than ever. Pinoys get to shop from here. And I get to shop all things Pinoy! With all these changes in the shopping experience, we all stand to benefit from it. More dollar outlet stores translate to more consumption, and then translates to a more active economy, that ultimately becomes a healthier climate for workers and consumers like you and me. Yes, I have come a long way from the those small stores in the Philippines. Give me just a little more time, and I am pretty sure my retail reflexes would change as well. Good luck to my financier! :) Labels: Blogging, Business |

Great Value On Pool And Spa Filters |
Monday, July 19, 2010 |
Whenever I need to get some spa chemicals, I just have to drive down Aurora Ave. to eventually spy a spa supply store. Amazingly these stores survive these hard times. Anyway, whatever I need for my hot tub can be found in these survivor stores. I try to keep my hot tub filters changed once a year. At my gym, they say that they change the pool filter cartridge once a week. I guess they're not taking any chances with contamination. At the gym I used to belong to, they changed out the basketball floor like once a year. It's a little extreme to me, but it's good for the economy! My current gym just had to replace a floor, and it came out really nice. A really old gym building has a nice new floor. And I love that new floor smell. Someday I think they're going to expand the gym, and then everything will be nice and re-furbished. Hopefully they'll get a grant or something, and then they can buy just as many spa chemicals, hot tub filters, and pool filter cartridge- as will fit in the storage rooms. I like my current gym better- since it is kept in better condition than my last gym. Labels: Blogging, Business, Health |

Specialty Escorted Tour Packages |
|
The advantage of living in a country where there are fifty-two states, is the wealth of sights, sounds and destinations. I am blessed that our family can gain and learn so much, with the availability of all the national parks tours any one could think of. Now, if money were no object, I would also like to see the day that our family would go on any of those china tours and italy tours being showcased in collettevacations.com, an specialty escorted tours and tour packages all over the world. It is a one-stop shop for destination and tour packages, the site would really come in handy for travel enthusiasts like our family. But least you think that the site would only be appreciated by travel buffs like myself, you may be pleased to know that the site also offers insights into the cultures and characters of any destination possible. Just by navigating through the website, one is already able to gain so much knowledge, culture and experience. I am really looking forward to the day that I would be able to plan a long-deserved tour for our family. And you can be sure that I will look no further when planning and collectevacations.com will be most suitable for our needs. Labels: Blogging, Travel |

Brand Names Health And Beauty Products |
|
In the Philippines, haircuts, manicures, pedicures, perms, massages, even make up services that involved the most sophisticated product lines, like Estee Lauder products or Bobbie brown makeup, come dirt cheap. Because of this irresistible price factor, my trips to the salon came regularly, almost at whim. Here in America, all these beauty regimens are considered luxuries. Thus, they all would have to take a backseat in my new life. With a household to run, and children to raise, salon visits come as a poor second, even a third priority. That means goodbye styled hairdos and polished nails. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!
Thankfully, there is an upside. You see, all the make-up product lines and freebies you could think of, like those from Clinique makeup are readily accessible over the counter, or even online, from sites like whiteseasthampton.com, a very complete online store with various range products of health and beauty. You can find modern brand name products like Estee lauder, Bobbie brown, and Clique products, or even perfumes at a very reasonable prices. This is a great remedy indeed, given all the things I have been missing out on since I settled here in the United States. I was browsing their extensive selection and was amazed that online customers are treated to the same high-quality brand name products well over the years.Labels: Beauty, Blogging, Shopping |

Unlimited Paperbacks and Children Books |
Sunday, July 18, 2010 |
I'm going to Rent books this weekend, and sit around the fire and read. I must give my body some rest, and my mind something to feed on and nurture from. My mind has become dormant, with all the entertainment and distractions around, and it is time to give my brain what it needs to survive: knowledge. Anyway, so I'm going down to a Book rental store tonight and I am going to get my books to start the first day of the rest of my book-learned life. If nothing else I need to get back to Audio books on cd, and listen to books so I can learn the fundamental doctrines of my religion. I can also brush up on how to defend the beliefs of my religion. There's a whole myriad of subjects on those matters on Audio books on cd. I learned many things years ago by using books on cd. Anyone can Rent books or listen to Audio books on cd, and become the kind of person who knowledgeable people like to talk to. While browsing online, I found booksfree.com, a website where you can find unlimited paperbacks and children books. What I like about it is that, you can rent unlimited audiobooks on CD, MP3-CD format audiobooks. Plus, you don't have to worry because there's no due dates. Labels: Blogging, Education, Electronics |

The Conference Group |
|
I'm looking forward to the days when I will be Web conferencing everyday to clients. Now that I understand how the market works, I can now begin to build a dynasty of legend. I will be among the names of the biggest billionaires of all time. We will sit in our lounges and smoke our cigars. It will be so nice. But back in the real world, I use Video conference. Health Monitoring Equipment |
|
According to a recent government study, the use of blood pressure monitors has arisen since the beginning of the use of "Sea Salt." All of a sudden, there was an immediate increase in blood pressure monitor use- immediately following the introduction of the so-called Sea Salt. This being the case, we must act in order to make a "more ordered" society. Anyone who is resistant to these demands by your Uncle Sam, will be detained, including some or all of these remedies: you will be placed in blood pressure cuffs and held for at least 96 hours at re-education camps. "I'm really sorry sir," says the Sheriff's Deputy. Then he actually goes on to say: "we must follow the example of country X," and .....well anyway, as he began to sniffle and weep, he then decided to just shut up and leave. The deputies' convictions had made their way to the surface, and then he had to follow his true beliefs about this nation called the U.S. of A., where we have FREEDOM FROM: fill in the blank. Anyway, for those of you who are looking for an inexpensive health monitoring equipment, don't forget to check out Southeastern Medical Supply Inc today. Labels: Blogging, Health |

Cruise Deals More Prevalent Than Ever |
Saturday, July 17, 2010 |
With the troubled economic condition worldwide putting financial strain on businesses, it is an optimal time to find vacation packages and cruise deals vastly discounted. In order to draw consumers, every arena of the entertainment sector has created incentives and dramatically decreased rates on hotel stays, airfare, and all costs associated with travel.
With that, there has never been a better time to search for cruise deals. Available in some instances at nearly half the regular price or even further, cruise deals are more prevalent than ever before. Offering you the chance to explore tropical destinations, fishing paradises, exotic beaches and aquatic treks across the world, a cruise gives you a vacation unlike any other.
Equipped with luxury lodging, five-star restaurants, pools, spas, and facilities that offer everything from state-of-the-art gyms to live music at electrifying nightclubs, a cruise provides all the activities and amenities you are seeking on your next vacation.
To acquire a deal on a cruise, you can do a general Internet search, talk with a travel agent, or contact a cruise line company to inquire about options and rates. Depending on what your time constraints are, the option to have a travel agent seek a cruise deal for you and design your cruise may be best. By informing him or her of your budget, the destination you would like to visit, the length of stay, and what preferences you are seeking, they can work with many different cruise companies to come up with an incredible vacation.
No matter how you plan your cruise, take advantage of the deals that are readily available. Ideal for family fun with on site activities and events for the kids, cruises are also a perfect two person getaway with romantic dining and dancing opportunities. Book your cruise today and finally experience your dream vacation.Labels: Blogging, Travel |

After searching for almost an hour finally I feel contented here at www.cozydays.com. I found the patio cover for my friend and a furniture for us. Hope my friend will gonna like the cover, I already have in mind and been browsing more for our furniture. Thanks for easy access with cozydays. I may now have the peace and ready to order. Digital Publishing Solutions |
|
As I stare at my crowded bookshelf, I am amazed at how many books I have read and accumulated over the years. That’s decades worth of stories, advice, manuscripts and editorial services crammed into our humble, not to mention, already crowded, personal library. I realized too that my reading preferences have been constantly changing over time. From romances, to chick lit, to mystery, to sci-fi, to parenting, to housekeeping, to self-help—my choices have been varied indeed. Our book shelf also contains my children’s favorite board books, nursery rhymes and bedtime stories. And I could imagine that my kids’ reading materials will change over the years as well. It is interesting that our bookshelf is a picture of how our life has changed all this time. And I am actually excited that we will probably adding more books on the shelf, and a little sad too because that would mean another year has gone painfully fast. I am also problematic since our bookshelf can only accommodate so much books. Oh what to do? That is why that I am thankful for the advent of digital publishing and the ebook publisher. At aptacorp.com, they offer digital publishing solutions, especially cutting edge technology and ipad solutions and expert consultations, direction and technology, like PowerXEditor, PowerSuite Tools and many more. Health Testing Services |
Friday, July 16, 2010 |
What is your take on undergoing mandatory std testing? In the older days, even the mere mention of sexually transmitted diseases or std was considered taboo. Society had previously discriminated upon individuals who had std or had any history of dealings with people with these dreaded diseases. And the stigma went a long way. But thanks to proper education and awareness, people have broadened their beliefs and principles. After all, std does not only affect those with risky sexual behavior. The innocent, sometimes, are not spared. It can even be passed from a parent to the unborn child, via medical needles and blood transfusion, or worse, even through crime like rape. In this regard, the clamor for same day std testing is rising. And it makes a lot of sense. Imagine the many innocent people who can be spared if we all become responsible enough to subject ourselves to this quick and painless medical measure. Fortunately, there are places where you can find great selection of preventive tests and related health tests. No hassle, confidential std testing. Fast, easy and accurate. Your case will always confidential and quick to address your needs and sensitive to the stress people experience. Labels: Blogging, Health |

The Next Best Thing Is Online Dating |
Wednesday, July 14, 2010 |
One of the last frontiers for dating is online dating. The world of human interaction is changing and has made finding a mate that much easier. If you have been looking in your local bookstore, coffee shop, or night life hot spot for someone to spend time with, it may be time to look into something that is fitting for this day and age. After exhausting all of your efforts, you may feel like you will never meet “the one.” There is no need to feel this way as the old saying that someone will show up when you least expect it rings true.
The easiest ways to get started with online dating is to create a profile that is unique just like you. Putting a few pictures of yourself up in social settings, with friends, or at sporting events can reveal a friendly, fun-loving side of yourself. You never want to show a false image of yourself online. Beginning with honesty is the very best way to meet someone of solid characteristics like yourself. When you set up your interests, be sure that you are accurate in this section as well. Don't, for example, say that you love horseback riding when you have never been on a horse in your life. Keep it simple and honest, and you cannot go wrong. When you fill out the section that asks what you seek in a partner, be as honest and specific as possible without sounding like you are looking for a person exceed your expectations in a partner, or even in a human. Be truthful and clear about what you like and dislike without trying to create a perfect person. After all, no one is perfect, not even you. Who knows, you may meet your perfect match online. She Deserved It |
Sunday, July 11, 2010 |
I was just done talking to my friend on Facebook a few minutes ago. She mentioned her family in the Philippines finally bought a car in Cebu City last week. Wow, I'm so proud of her. She's been working so hard all these years and she truly deserved it. Right now, they're on the look out for a reputable and affordable car insurance provider in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. My cousin used to work in the insurance agency in Tagbilaran City for almost eight (8) years. I guess I have to ask her if she can refer my friend. We'll see..... Labels: Autos, Blogging, Insurance |

House Plans And Designs Made Easy |
Friday, July 9, 2010 |
We all know that building the perfect house of your dream is not really that easy. I still remember when my Aunt built her dream house more than fifteen (15) years ago. Her husband was not home at that time. He’s a seaman and he was away a lot so she had to do most of the planning and all of the associated paperwork. She was also pregnant at the time. I also remember she asked me to check out any of the house plans and designs in the magazines at school. I would make Xerox copies of homes plans and house floor plans for her as well. Yes, it was a lot of work back then as the internet did not exist in our province at that time. These days, finding the right custom house plans and designs is made easy through the help of the internet. The internet really plays a big part in our lives on a day to day basis. While browsing online I stumbled upon the website houseplansandmore.com of HDA Inc. This website website has thousands of stylish house plans and designs from experienced and professional designers. It is so easy to pick a house style and house plan from this vast selection. Take some time to browse through their different house plans to see what you can find. HousePlansandMore.com is a great source for finding the right house floor plans that suit your style and budget. Thanks to the internet you don't have to flip through magazines or make xerox copies. Not Happening Soon |
|
No matter what I do, it seems like my quest to lose weight fast is not happening anytime soon. Every time we go out somewhere, I kept telling myself to not eat a lot but always failed. Well, who can't resist when you see all those yummy foods in the buffet and restaurant? It's hard right? But I know it's not an excuse, but I'm still working on it. I guess I will have to start going to the gym regularly and get rid of all those extra fat especially in my belly. It's disgusting! Labels: Blogging, Health, Weight Loss |

Web Hosting Directory And Rating |
|
I never thought I would see the day that I’d be maintaining an online diary. But here I am. You see, I consider myself a pretty private person--preferring to express my thoughts and feelings, if at all, only to those who belong to my inner circle. But that all changed when I discovered blogging.
Blogging proved to be a good outlet for me to share information, to celebrate my joy, to air my frustrations, and even to meet new people—things that would usually take time when I go the offline route. It all started as a hobby and de-stresser for me, with my readership limited to a chosen few. And then surprisingly, my readership grew. Thanks to the web hosting guide at webhostingrating.com, my humble home online connected me to big and exciting opportunities. My online personal journal now became my key to networking, to learning, to earning, and most especially, to expanding my circle of friends. Add a dash of cheap web hosting here and there, and the rest, they say, is history. My ultimate dream would be to get into the best web hosting awards, but that’s farther down the road. Right now, I am happy where I am. And I cannot imagine myself writing, reading, learning and growing any other way.
I can’t believe that it has been years since I first started pounding on the keyboard to get my thoughts online. It has been a great journey for me and I look forward to the long and exciting road ahead.Labels: Blogging, Business, Internet, Web Hosting |

Distributor Of High Quality Residential Mailboxes And Commercial Mailboxes |
|
Every day going to work I see these two crumpled mail boxes on a post in front of I guess two non-lived in properties. Evidently some kids came along and beat up the poor Mailboxes, leaving them quite flat. However, I remember being a kid. I wouldn’t have minded bashing in some Residential Mailboxes, or some Commerical Mailboxes, simply for the fun of it. Yep, those were the days, and boys will be boys.
Now, as a half-way grumpy old man, I don’t appreciate it, but I certainly understand the sentiment. Ha Ha. Anyway, we painted our mailbox in a pot of half of a 55-gallon drum, when I was kid. We painted it this awful yellow color. It must have been some bargain paint. The barrel was filled with dirt and quite heavy. Very hard to bring down, for a non-permanent mailbox. Those were the days.Labels: Blogging, Business, Home and Garden |

Need A Tender Loving Care? |
Thursday, July 8, 2010 |
The Chevrolet Silverado truck is a beautiful truck. Dark Silver, that's the color I want. And if a person ever needed a brake job for one of those....they could go to Dallas auto repair (that is, if they live in Dallas or thereabouts). Getting back to that truck, I wouldn't mind driving one of those gas hogs; however, it had better be powered by Compressed Natural Gas, so as to be as green as possible. That should be available soon. A friend of mine was a able to buy a new Silverado. I really enjoyed traveling in it, even in the backseat. Maybe someday when I live on a ranch near Dallas, and I'll take my truck to Dallas Auto Repair whenever it needs some tender lovin'. I should think that they would give me a fair shake down there.
Getting back to Compressed Natural Gas...I think it's the next thing. Right now I think that Natural Gas is a brilliant investment. It's the next step in the new green economy. So someday I'm going to own a dark silver Chevrolet Silverado, and it will be powered by Natural Gas. I already know where to fill up, and I'm sure there'll be more stations on the way.Labels: Autos, Blogging, Business |

I Love My Pets And Want To Provide The Best For Them |
|
Guest post written by Susie Winchester. I have to tell you that I love my pets, especially the dogs that I raise and train. The fact that I have a number of animals to take care of means that I am always looking for a way to save money as well as provide the best quality products for my pets. One of the ways I do this is by going on huges net satellite internet service to my favorite resources there to purchase the many of the supplies I need to ensure the health of my precious animals. I access these sites using my satellite internet in IL connection and I am pleased with the service I receive. Once I am on a particular site I usually browse around to see if there are any specials that I would like to take advantage of while I can get it at a cheaper price. This saves me a bundle because I am very careful to choose only what I know I will be needing in the future. I also like the convenience of being able to place photos of the dogs I am trying to place with a forever home. That way many people can see the qualities that are present in the dogs I raise and make a better decision based on what they can see. Like I said, I love my pets and want others to love them too. If you want to shop with ease for your pets online, you should check out hughesnet pricing too. Labels: Blogging, Electronics, Entertainment, Internet |
